		<description>So, this is definitely a late, *late* response and, of course, some of the council membership has changed.

I&#039;ll be brief and to the point:  I agree with your final statements.

The city needs to review all of the assorted projects and institutions subsidized by city funds to determine who needs their assistance reduced or terminated as a &#039;failing&#039; or &#039;failed&#039; operation.  

Now, I believe we should support many of these programs, but our current city budget won&#039;t allow for it, which is entirely understandable.  The city does need to focus on those projects that provide a return in either financial gains or an increase in our local population.  As we grow as a locale, we will gain a better ability to provide for those programs that cannot support themselves.  

It&#039;s easy math and I cannot figure out why the city negelcts to run the figures.</description>
